Poor people do need reservation to get good education is a false logic. For this purpose, scholarships will be more helpful for them. The concept behind the reservation policy has something different tune. Krishworld writes that the financially weaker sections should get monetary scholarships to get the necessary education.
Giving logic for creating reservation system based on poor economic condition is baseless. krishworld says that people, promoting economic criteria for reservations, don’t think deeply or they just use this as a tool to avoid being labeled a racist.

Reservation is an ill-conceived idea for upliftment of the so called deprived class. By doing that we deteriorate the quality of professionals and students getting into jobs and professional studies.
There should be no compromise on the merit at any cost. Financial assistance can be provided to such people.
It is unfortunate that reservation is merely used as a popular agenda to get hads on the vote bank rather than actual development.
