In last fifteen years, Bihar has sent more and more people outside the state to earn money and live the better life. People have gone everywhere in every sectors. From Rickshaw-wala to Charted Accountant, Journalist, IAS, IPS officers, you may find the people of Bihar everywhere. You can find their strong presence in Metropolitan cities such as Mumbai and Delhi on Durga puja and Chath puja too.
One thing that is common among the NRBs (Non-resident Biharis) that they love their state. On the other hand, there is a dissimilarity also, the people of lower classes still feel that their roots are in Bihar, but the high-earning band of Biharis have no time to go their state.
I have read an interesting conversation between the author and an Auto rickshaw-wala in the blog gauravonomics . Gaurav had very interesting talks with that state-mate auto driver. As both were from Bihar the conversation had gone out of the ordinary.
Don’t forget to overlook the last line of that conversation.
