We all are quite aware of the Meerut fair fire incident .The death toll from the devastating inferno at a trade fair in northern India has rose to 52, and even now people are struggling hard to find their relatives among the charred bodies.
This first large scale fair became toaster oven for many as fire broke out due to short circuit grilling many but alas! Such big fair had only one exit and entrance.

The Meerut Fire Tragedy is a national disaster which once again proves the utter callousness of the district administration and the depravity of the photo concious politicians of India.
Even after so much water has run post Bhopal tragedy, there is no disaster management system in place. For our elite I.A.S. the best disaster management is cleaning up and pushing everything under the carpet.
The I.A.S. are accessories to the crime of destruction of legal evidence. I hope for the sake of our people, the Supreme Court takes suo moto notice and takes appropriate action.
