The government of India is still in mess on the issue of hanging of Afzal. Indian Blogsphere has been almost silent on this issue. I just find October 5 post here on Afzal hanging.
It writes as What do you make out of the number of protests by muslims in support of that terrorist? Will I be wrong if I say that muslims support terrorism. Moreover, so do the secular self-proclaimed intellectuals?
And here, I have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to drive on our roads, or to get a piece of paper that basically says that I am a bonafide citizen of India (the passport).

Pratyush,
You have to be really carefull in making any statements against muslims.
As you have already concluded that Muslims support terrorism, i would like to ask you few questions
1) What information do you have about Parliament attack apart from what we read in news papers and heard on TV?
2) On what basis do you say that Muslims support terrorism?
3) What more do you know about afzal to say that he is one of the attackers?
I definitely like the attackers to be hanged, but let the complete truth be out before we hang the real culprits.
There are many questions surrounding the parliament attack.
You have to be patient enough to draw a line between people who support terrorism and people who don’t. Just because most of the terrorists are muslims does not make sense for us to say that every muslim is a terrorist.
We should take the information from news papers and TV channels with a pinch of salt. Not everything they feed is is truth.
Thanks.

Dear Sridhar, I think you were in hurry to write a comment on me. All of these words are not mine. Anyways, No body can say that All Muslims support terrorism. Even some people of our religion do support in the anti-national activities. Actually, in my opinion terrorists do not belong to any religion. They play with the emotions of the people only.
As far as Afzal is concerned, the Judiciary has given its verdict and now people making question against it. I have a question, the court had awarded death penalty to Afzal some times back but the date was not decided. on the day, when the court decided the date the, protest started suddenly and the political parties started singing in a same tune, what is this?
Just go through this article-

I actually delayed writing a response back to find you a link which gives 5-7 page information on Parliament attack. It was posted on outlookindia. The enture episode of Parliament attack is questionable and NDA government’s quick decision to send our troops to face eye-ball to eye-ball with Paki troops. Afzal’s case is controversial in that afzal doesnot have resources to fight his case and was made a scapegoat. The courts were fed with information which in itself is controversial.
We need to re-vist this case in-depth. Untill then delaying his hanging is good for us all. BJP is in hurry to get him hanged while Congress is playing wait and see approach.
President of INdia should throw the clemency petition back and ask our government/agencies to do thorough investigation.
Remember we can always hang Afzal, so why not wait and get to the bottom of whole episode?
