The government of India has implemented the Domestic Violence Act 2005 from October 26, 2006. The main purpose of the act is to save women, female children from the domestic violence and exploitation.
Sakshi has written in the post Domestic Violence Act 2005 - Big Brother has arrived that
domestic violence is one of the gravest and the most pervasive of human right violations in India.
The Act not only provides protection to women who are legally married but also those who are in live-in relationship. The new law also addresses sexual abuse of children, or forcing girls to marry against their wishes as well.
She has put a question further that
simply passing an Act and jotting it down on legal papers doesn’t ensure that its main purpose will be served.
The effectiveness of this revolutionary Act would only be judged once the intended implementation plans are put into action without any lengthy delays, a positive level of transparency between the Ministry and State governments is achieved and most important of all, the ones who are in-charge of enforcing this Act carryout their duty in the rightful manner.

We The Citizens of India are not Against Domestic violence Act.
but Current Dv Act Gives Modern Indian Women ample chance to misuse,as dowry law.
We are Proposing Domestic Harmony Law, Instead Domestic violence Law, Law should be equal to all,both men and women.
We also Propose to amend the word Men to Spouse
As all women are not Victims, they are villains too
And all men are not Villains, they are victims too.
Why our law makers gender balanced laws instead Gender biased laws...?

After interaction with a lot of people in different field including
Laywers/media/common people:-
1. If any one write for Men( amy be few) , 90% cases it is women
only.
2. Men does not brother and over confidence fool.
3. In my mobile , maximum case , ( more than 70%) , call comes from
women only ( mother/ssiters).
At the end , my view , women understand waht we want to say easily
than men ( for a Normal human who do not face the 498a or any women
biased law).
But at the end , some bad women really making life of all miserable
and people are loosing the respect towards women slowly and if this
does not stop , crime will increse , which concerns me more.
I belive men are from ”Mars” and women are form ”Venus”.
No Law can cahnge that and the more we will try , the more we will
suffer , but which our LAW maker do not understand.
Self respect comes , by your hard earning money , by grabing others
money and enjoying the same without taking any responsibility
nothing but cheating.
It is applicable for both men and women.
But it seems our LAW maker thing husabnd killing is the Nobel work,
grabing husabnds money and property is women empowerment.
If there are abusive men, then there are Abusive women too. Laws should be gender balanced not Gender Biased.

a. they will not believe in ”law and order” becauese law is not going to listen mens and ’even dont need any proof? Bliend Law’
b. they will be in jail vary soon for not fullfilling the demands of their wives and will loose their Job/Reputation ( then what they will do after this ???).
c. They will have to commit suicide or will not think of merriage.

”Book the working hostel and Professonal Course for them , make them
independent from so called Abala Nari”.. No wastage of money in the
name of Maintance/allomoney or Divroce degree.
